As we bring the 2011 wedding year to a close. I thought I would highlight on some of my weddings. The 2011 wedding season brought me many different styles that I love! I challenge myself at every wedding to think outside the box and help the bride design not just her dream wedding, but to pepper that niche style with pieces of herself.

Intimate and Shabby Chic! At this wedding we were able to transform the backyard from ceremony style to reception in  a matter of minutes. With the unique wooden centerpieces, mason jars with candle light, and plenty of wine the guests celebrated until well after midnight! Enjoy!!

How to find your Perfect Wedding Planner {Oklahoma City Wedding Planner Amanda Sikich}

Welcome to the wonderful world of weddings! I have no doubt that you are extremely excited about beginning to plan the best day of your life and I'm sure that you just can't stop staring at the beautiful ring Mr. Right slipped on your finger. So, let the planning begin! First stop.....wedding planner!

It may be extremely difficult to narrow it down to the planner/designer that's right for you. Do your research before scheduling your first consultation and after the meeting simply ask yourself these questions:

1. Did you feel like the planner heard you?

2. Did the planner/designer understand your style and vision?

3. Do you feel that the planner could work within your budget?

4. Did you make a good connection? Did you feel that your personalities meshed well?

Each planner/designer is unique and you will be planning side by side with them for several months. Communication is key and they should understand that listening to you and your wants is more important then allowing them to plan your vision for you.
